Lin Xiaoman, daughter of the village's suona craftsman, is called a 'disaster' by villagers because her family's heirloom 'God-Slaying Suona' can summon souls and vanquish evil. Until evil outbreaks hit the village—missing villagers return as 'living dead,' children are abducted by 'divine envoys,' and a conspiracy to resurrect an ancient evil god is uncovered. To find out the truth about her grandfather's death, Xiaoman has to take out the sealed suona, enduring villagers' misunderstandings while fighting evil spirits possessing the villagers with it. At this time, Chen Mo, a young policeman who suspects her of being the 'murderer,' comes to her. From opposition to cooperation, they discover the 'divine envoy' is the cultist who killed her grandfather years ago... When the old suona confronts the evil conspiracy, and misunderstanding clashes with truth, can Xiaoman protect the village with her family's craft?
