Shen Yanzhi, a nobleman from the capital, enters the mountains to collect debts and accidentally breaks into Qingzhu Village, where he is captured by bandits. To his surprise, the leader is Azhu, his childhood sweetheart—the little girl who became a bandit after her family's misfortune, now a formidable "village chief." She pretends to be fierce demanding ransom but secretly slips him candied fruits; he uses his "hostage" status to turn the tables, tricking her into reconciling. As they bicker sweetly in the village, unknown to them, enemies at the foot of the mountain are eyeing the secret of Qingzhu Village. Will their rekindled sweetness survive the hidden danger?
