Ni Yifei, a 1962 educated youth sent to the countryside, is pushed to the brink—her younger brother is gravely ill with no money for treatment, and her parents are being struggle-sessioned over "class background issues". When she touches an old copper lock left by her grandmother, she accidentally travels to a 2023 supermarket warehouse. She finds she can bring modern supplies back to the 60s, but each trip only lasts 10 minutes and drains her life force. Determined to save her brother and clear her parents' name, she risks her life shuttling between the two eras. But just as she finally gathers enough medical fees, the copper lock starts to crack.
