Lin Dayou, the "silly big guy" in Taohua Village, is an overlooked village guardian who carries a broken hoe around the village every day, mocked by young people as "nosy". Until an out-of-town developer drives an excavator toward the century-old ancestral hall—planning to demolish the village for a resort—Lin suddenly steps forward and stops the several-ton machine with one hand! It turns out he's a retired "folk feng shui master" who hid for ten years, and under the ancestral hall lies the dragon vein guarding the village. Facing the thugs hired by the developer, Lin easily defends himself with his family's Tai Chi pushing hands. The villagers then realize: this smiling "idler" is the last "anchor" of the village. Can he protect the village's roots?
