Down-and-out jewelry designer Li Xiaoyu hides in an old dock warehouse to escape debt collectors, accidentally meeting Yu Xuanhonghao, who repairs the old navigation light every night. He says the light is "a boat that ferries moonlight to the star river" and has kept watch for seven years. When Li helps him renovate the lamp base, she finds her lost starry pendant from childhood inside—turns out Yu was the boy who saved her from drowning years ago, and he’s been waiting here for the girl who "left starlight in his eyes." When the navigation light reignites, moonlight spreads like a galaxy, and the two finally cross seven years of waiting to catch the starlight that belongs to each other.
