Mermaid Lin Xi traded her heavenly voice for human legs to marry Lu Jingchuan, her savior. But after marriage, Lu became a different person—cold and distant, even deliberately difficult: smashing her seashells, forbidding her from talking about the sea, and calling her an 'ill-mannered wild girl' at a banquet. Just as Lin Xi was gathering enough tears to return to the sea, Lu learned from the old butler: the one who saved him years ago was exactly Lin Xi, who sang the fishing song. His 'difficulty' was just a clumsy disguise—afraid she'd find out he'd already fallen in love with her.
