When developers threaten to demolish the old alley, Zhou grabs a welding torch and welds a sign: 'Protect Xiaoman’s Kitchen.' Only then does Lin realize: Northeast romance isn’t about moonlit walks—it’s a heart warmed by the kang, and long love simmered in an iron pot.
