Liu Ning, a corporate white-collar worker, has been plagued by supernatural occurrences lately—her computer suddenly displays strange death warnings during overtime, the elevator always gets stuck on the 14th floor when she returns home, and she even encounters a little girl in a red dress smiling at her in the underground garage. On the brink of collapse, she meets a short-haired girl in a gray Taoist robe at an alleyway. Holding a flywhisk, the girl bows and says: "I'm Taoist Wu Yang. You're entangled by an obsessive spirit—we need to exorcise it immediately." Liu Ning rolls her eyes, thinking it's a cosplay fraud, until the red-dressed girl actually sits on her bedside and touches her face that night. Just in time, Wu Yang breaks through the window, repels the spirit with a glowing talisman, and reveals a secret: the spirit haunting her is her junior sister from the Taoist temple, whom she failed to save years ago. And Liu Ning's birth chart is exactly the same as her junior sister's when she was alive!
