Using future agricultural technology, he grows high-yield crops; using live-stream selling tactics, he helps villagers sell mountain products; he even leads the first township enterprise in the village. But just as the village finally has enough to eat, A Xiu hands him a divorce paper with red eyes: ‘You only care about money now—you’re not the Shenzi I knew.’ Gu Shen wakes up: he’d been so busy rewriting the ‘poverty’ of the famine that he almost lost the ‘love’ he’d wanted to make up for in his past life—turns out, what really needs ‘rewriting’ is the companionship and sincerity he missed.
