Lin Shen, an ordinary courier, receives a black envelope with no sender one day. When he opens it, a blood-stained plea stares back: "Save me, it's gnawing my shadow." To his horror, he realizes he can see the "abnormal" others can't—hair crawling along corridors, a woman smiling backwards in the mirror, a faceless child knocking at the door at midnight. It turns out this is a mission from the "Void Post Office": only he can deliver these "death letters", and each delivery means exorcising the evil spirits haunting the recipient. As he digs deeper, Lin Shen uncovers the truth behind the Void Post Office and the apocalypse—all evil spirits are born from human obsessions. His ultimate goal? To destroy the Great Demon that caused the doomsday. But when he opens the last letter, he collapses at the photo inside: it's his late girlfriend who died in a car accident three years ago because he was late, and her obsession is to make the whole world "wait" for him...
