Chen Jianguo, an ordinary middle-aged father, is a meek supermarket owner in his daughter Xiaotang's eyes—until she gets tangled in a gang debt dispute and is threatened with having her hand broken. At the critical moment, Chen makes a mysterious call, and seconds later, police cars swarm the scene. It turns out he's an undercover narcotics agent who's been deep undercover for a decade! When the "cowardly dad" drops his disguise, he not only rescues Xiaotang but also uncovers the drug-trafficking ring the gang hid behind his supermarket. This "secret mission" for his daughter will make all the city's gangs pay a bloody price for their past arrogance!
