The Shen family is doomed—framed by rivals, their property is about to be seized by the government. Just as they sink into despair, a cute little beggar shows up, patting his chest and declaring, "I'm the Painting Immortal's disciple! I can save you!" With an old, shiny brush, he paints a "golden rain" to fill their financial gap and a "spirit sparrow" to expose the villain's forged evidence. But when the Shens try to thank him, the little beggar skips away, leaving only a line: "Wait for my master to collect the painting debt from your ancestors!" It turns out the little prodigy's divine brush holds a century-old secret between the Painting Immortal and the Shen family's forefathers.
