Eight-year-old orphan Xiao Nuomi (Little Glutinous Rice) suddenly receives a mysterious inheritance letter, which states she can only claim the huge fortune if she “brings Daddy home” first. By accident, she finds Gu Jingshen—a cold-faced CEO who just got dumped by his gold-digging girlfriend and went bankrupt—holding a hand-drawn “Looking for Daddy” sign. The cute little girl tugs at his suit hem and says “Daddy, hug!” in a milky voice, breaking through Gu’s icy heart. Forced to be a “temporary dad,” he complains about Xiao Nuomi being a “little troublemaker” but secretly helps her with math and protects her from bullies. However, as they get closer, Gu realizes Xiao Nuomi looks exactly like his late first love Su Xiaotang. Is Su Xiaotang still alive? Is Xiao Nuomi his biological daughter? And the “sudden inheritance” is just a gentle plan Su Xiaotang made to reunite them?
