32-year-old working mom Lin Xiaoman travels back to 1998 after an accident and meets her 25-year-old mother Li Guilan—who’s being scolded as “useless for having a daughter” by her mean mother-in-law, enduring cold violence from her cheating husband, and even picking up rotten vegetables at the market to survive.
