Lin Xiaoman, a fresh design graduate, "offended" Gu Jingshen, the group's president, on her first day at work—she spilled coffee on his custom suit and even called him an "ill-mannered client" by mistake. Since then, they've become office "arch-enemies": Gu nitpicks her proposals constantly, while Xiaoman secretly adds double sugar to his coffee as "revenge." But when Xiaoman is robbed of her work by a colleague and her design draft is stolen, the sarcastic president quietly retrieves her manuscript and proves her design rights to the client. Until a dinner party, Gu, drunk, reveals his secret: three years ago, when he was surrounded by troublemakers, it was Xiaoman in overalls who handed him an umbrella… Turns out those bickering days have long been unhidden heartbeats; the so-called "surprise at first sight" is just two reunited people, secretly continuing their old story.
