In a remote 1957 mountain village, Zhou Tiezhu, a penniless mountain hunter, is reborn. With two jin of pork he’s saved for half a year, he “buys” Su Xiaotang, a city girl with red, tear-streaked eyes—she died shielding him from debt in his past life. This time, he vows with the warm pork: “I’ll dig up the whole mountain to let you eat refined grains and wear new clothes!” But idle villagers gossip, the landlord’s son steals his territory, and even Xiaotang’s family demands a divorce… Watch the skilled hunter trade wild game for money, outwit villains, turn poverty into sweetness, and heal past regrets into present joy.
