Lin Wan, a junior restorer at Jinghua Art Museum, is actually the real daughter of the Lin Group. However, her stepsister Lin Tang colludes with her boyfriend Lu Mingyuan to frame her for "damaging a national treasure," kicking her out of the Lin family and stealing her identity as the "Lin family's daughter" and her long-awaited ancient painting restoration project. In desperation, Lin Wan stumbles upon a torn page of 《Ink Shadows Record》 left by her late mother, which contains the century-lost "Cicada Wing Repair" technique and uncovers Lin Tang's "impersonation" secret. When she uses "Cicada Wing Repair" to restore the deliberately damaged Song Dynasty painting 《Spring in Bianjing》, when Lu Mingyuan's cheating video is exposed, and when Lin Tang's "daughter" mask is torn off—the girl once trampled into dust finally lives as a more dazzling existence than ancient paintings in Jinghua's vanity fair with her professionalism and unyielding pride.
