In the 1980s, Li Hongling, the "fiery factory belle" of Hongguang State-owned Textile Factory, is bold and resilient but falls for the wrong man—her ex-husband Zhou Mingyuan swindles all her dowry, then colludes with scheming colleague Zhao Xiaomei to frame her for "embezzling fabrics," aiming to get her fired and leave her with nothing. But Li Hongling isn't one to back down! With her 5-year-old cute daughter Xiaotang, she catches Zhao red-handed stealing public thread, supports her family by taking private tailoring jobs with her top-notch skills, and unexpectedly grows closer to Chen Mo, the steady and reserved technical section chief. When a bankrupt Zhou crawls back begging for reconciliation, Xiaotang raises a toy gun and yells, "Bad dad, don't touch Mom!" Li Hongling smiles and slaps down the divorce papers: "I told you—my life isn't up to scum to dictate!" And the new workshop contract Chen Mo hands her? It hides a confession he's kept for three years—this fiery belle's comeback isn't just about slapping scum; it's about a love so sweet it warms the heart.
