A young Taoist priest fresh from his mountain retreat summons a listless small skeleton casually for practice, taking it as a useless training partner or life-saving trinket. Unexpectedly, this tiny creature is actually a top-tier Reaper who once slaughtered across the Three Realms and only recognizes its master. As they bond, the priest's mysterious background and the skeleton's hidden past gradually unfold. During cross-timeline adventures in modern cities and ancient eras, they evade forces coveting their special power, develop affection while fighting side by side, rise to counter schemes, and finally team up to crush conspiracies and uncover the sealed secrets of the Three Realms.
