Su Qingyuan, an ancient mystic ancestor, accidentally travels to modern times during a thunder tribulation and inhabits Su Ruanruan, an 18th-tier actress betrayed by her scumbag boyfriend and blacklisted by her company. To her shock, her mystic powers have transformed into a 'prophetic mouth'—when she says her green-tea friend will 'fall into the pool and lose her endorsement,' the friend trips instantly; when she mutters that CEO Gu Jingshen will 'be plagued by evil magic and lose sleep,' Gu shows up at her door that night with a pillow; even her casual remark that 'this CEO is easy on the eyes' makes the cold man come begging for a 'love fortune-telling' the next day! Gu initially approaches her to break his curse, but gradually falls for her playfulness and 'say-it-and-it-comes-true' abilities. He helps her take down scumbags and hypocrites while secretly supporting her dream of becoming a top star. Just as Su finds a way back to her ancient world, Gu hides her mystic compass and holds her cat, saying softly: 'Master, I’ll take the thunder tribulation for you. This life, let me be the 'love fate' you stay for.'
