Down-and-out designer Su Wan is forced to sign a contract marriage with Gu Yanxing, the reputed "ruthless suit-clad tyrant", to save her critically ill brother. Expecting an endless cage, she finds extreme tenderness under Gu's suit: he retrieves her stolen designs, silently hands her hot cocoa when she breaks down, and even takes a knife for her from enemies.
