Lin Chuan, labeled a "family-ruining curse" by neighbors, receives an old dragon-patterned coffin from his dying grandfather, who only says, "This is the Dragon-Suppressing Coffin, and you have the Yama's fate." That night, a mysterious Taoist cult breaks in to steal the coffin and kidnaps his terminally ill sister to force him to hand over the "Yama's Seal." On the run, Lin Chuan uncovers his identity—he's the last descendant of the ancient Dragon-Suppressing clan, and the Yama's fate is the only one that can wield the coffin to subdue evil. When the cult uses his sister's life to force him to open the coffin, Lin Chuan's Yama's fate awakens. A golden dragon flies out of the coffin, repelling the enemies and saving his sister. It also reveals the truth about his family's massacre years ago. Clutching the bronze seal his grandfather left, he vows: "I'll get back everything they owe our family!"
