Lin Xiaoman, an astronomy museum curator, has waited ten years for her astronaut boyfriend Gu Chuan, who went missing. On a rainy night, a mysterious man covered in wounds knocks on the museum door—he knows Gu Chuan's personal habits perfectly and wears the moon necklace Xiaoman gave Gu Chuan. But the ID card he drops from his pocket bears the number of Gu Chuan's unexecuted 2045 space mission. Meanwhile, "starfall anomalies" have been frequent in the city, and someone warns Xiaoman: "He's not Gu Chuan. He's a 'corrector' sent by 'time'. If you get any closer, all your memories related to Gu Chuan will be erased." However, Xiaoman notices that the man always calls her "Xiaoman" in his sleep and can even draw the "rose crater on the far side of the moon" that Gu Chuan only mentioned to her.
