Five years ago, Lin Zhan, captain of the special forces team "Dragon Blade", took the blame for his fallen comrade and was sent to prison, becoming a forgotten "discarded pawn". Five years later, he returns with scars all over his body, only to find his former lover Su Xiaoyu being forced into marriage by the heir of Haicheng's richest财团—using a "life-saving favor" as leverage. Worse still, his comrade's death wasn't a mission accident at all, but a murder by the财团 to seize a border coal mine! Torn between protecting the woman he once loved and avenging the injustice, Lin Zhan infiltrates the财团 as a "construction worker", using the ruthlessness and calm of a war god to tear through the capital's dark web. When the trampled dragon finally raises its head, the entire Haicheng will pay for its past sins!
