Su Wan pretends to be a "materialistic schemer" to get close to the cold CEO Gu Jingshen, aiming to steal evidence of his company's violations for her best friend who was owed design fees. But every attempt feels like falling into his "trap"—he brushes her fingertips when passing documents, leaves warm taro porridge for her overtime, and even covers for her when she almost gets exposed. Su Wan panics: Is her racing heart an act? Or is she really touched by his gentleness? Little does she know, Gu Jingshen recognized her long ago—she’s the silly girl who gave him her umbrella in the rain three years ago, leaving herself soaking wet. This time, he’s turning her "scheme" into a reason to keep her by his side forever.
