Su Xiaoman, a Beipiao (Beijing drifter) office worker, is a die-hard "migrant bird" during every Spring Festival travel rush. This year, she misses her homebound high-speed train due to overtime and accidentally binds to the "No Southbound System" — she must help her sarcastic neighbor, CEO Lu Yanqing, solve his company's crisis to unlock the right to go home. Forced into action, she uses three years of office survival tricks to handle difficult clients, absurd shareholders, and even "tame" Lu's sharp tongue into clinginess. But as the missions progress, Su realizes: the "home" she's desperate to return to is just an escape from "stability"; and Lu's hidden tenderness under his sarcasm makes her want to "stay in Beijing for once." When the system's final mission is "Choose to stay or leave," she understands: Migrant birds stop flying south not because of the cold, but because they've found their own "warm habitat."
