Introverted freelance illustrator Su Xiao stumbled upon a tiny merman covered in silvery-blue scales during a late-night beach trip. The little creature only calls her "sister" in soft, sweet voices, can conjure round pearls out of thin air, and even snuck to munch on her succulent plants. Soon, merman hunters tracked them down, revealing that the clingy little ball was actually the lost heir of the merman clan. Now the homebound introvert and her adorable charge must team up to escape the hunters and embark on a hilarious yet heartwarming journey to find the little merman's family.
