Su Li, a modern girl with an innate "ultra-lucky" aura, accidentally travels back to ancient times and becomes the "Koi Saint" of Xuan Tian Sect—used to gather fortune for the sect's plot to seize the throne. She thought she was adored by all, but soon discovers she's merely a "fortune container": trapped in a qi-gathering array year-round, and even destined to be given to the power-hungry Northern Prince in exchange for military support. Realizing the truth, Su Li flees overnight. Unexpectedly, her departure triggers an immediate collapse of Xuan Tian Sect's fortune: the Immortal Ladder crumbles, the sect leader's alchemy furnace explodes, and Chu Yan, the young sect master, sees his succession plans fail one after another. Chu Yan, finally realizing Su Li is the core of their fortune, chases after her while trying to fix the sect's mess. Meanwhile, Su Li uses her koi luck to rise in the mortal world: saving a stranded prince, opening a "good luck teahouse," and accidentally disrupting Xuan Tian Sect's schemes. When Chu Yan finally finds her, Su Li smiles and hands him a "debt collection list"—this time, she's here to reclaim her freedom and see who gets the last laugh.
