Lin Chuan, an ordinary office worker, is devastated when his wife Su Xiaotang is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer. In despair, he activates the “Wife Protection & Life Extension System”—fulfill 100 of her unfulfilled wishes to reverse her death countdown. To save her, Lin goes from a “kitchen disaster” to a “wish executor”: he nearly burns down the kitchen making her favorite tomato egg noodles, pretends to be a celebrity assistant to take her to a concert (and gets chased by security), and even unlocks cultivation powers to dispel the cold energy from her past life that caused her illness. As they rediscover their romantic past, the system suddenly reveals when they reach the 99th wish: “The final wish is ‘Make Lin Chuan forget me’”… What choice will he make?
