Lin Wan, a modern designer, finds an old 1942 train ticket at a flea market and accidentally boards a mysterious time-traveling train. There she meets Chen Mo, a young man about to return to his homeland for material transportation. The train's time barrier traps her in the 1942 carriage; she tries to go back to the present but is pulled away by an unseen force every time near the exit. Shockingly, Chen Mo is the unnamed machinist recorded in history who died on the tracks. To change the tragedy, Lin Wan tries to rewrite fate, only to find the train exists because of a veteran's 70-year obsession. Every choice she makes rewrites history and puts her own existence at risk.
