Ma Xiaoyue, a working-class guy born in the Year of the Horse, struggles to get a Spring Festival travel ticket and accidentally activates the "New Year Counterattack System". His mission? Win over Su Longjing, the "Tiger-style Royal Sister" from the next village—who once bullied him into hiding in a wheat stack as a kid. Now Su is a CEO back home to organize a folk festival, and Ma's system tasks keep piling up: retrieve her lost childhood rattle, reconcile her with her grandma, and "battle wits" at the New Year's Eve dinner. Between the system's hilarious demands and their bickering-turned-affection dynamic, Ma realizes the so-called "Dragon-Tiger Showdown" is actually a decade-long mutual crush.
