After a grueling overtime shift, office worker Lin Wan picks up a premium durian she’s been craving. Just as she leaves the fruit shop, her neighbor Aunt Wang suddenly blocks her path, falling to the ground clutching her ankle and accusing Lin Wan of knocking her over. Before Lin Wan can defend herself, Aunt Wang grabs her hand and wails that her son, who has had a secret crush on Lin Wan for years, will only marry her, demanding she agree to be his daughter-in-law on the spot.
