28-year-old cold-faced programmer Lin Chuan is secretly pursuing his colleague Su Xiao, but his solo life is suddenly invaded by his 50-year-old "playful" mom Shen Meilan—she shows up with luggage, lying about "passing through on a trip" but actually coming to check on him. Mom not only turns his plain apartment into a pink "girl's room" and digs out his 10-year-old "Crush Diary" but also waits outside his company, introducing herself as "future mother-in-law," completely messing up Lin Chuan's pursuit plan. As Su Xiao mistakes him for a "mama's boy," Lin Chuan has to outsmart his mom while saving his romance, only to realize her "nonsense" is just fear of him being lonely. This mother-son battle hides the warmest care.
