Lin Xiaxia, who failed the art college entrance exam, fled to her grandma's coastal town, hiding her artistic passion in her sketchbook. At the summer seaside market, she accidentally lost her grandma-given sketchbook and met Shen Yu, an indie band lead singer who also lost his guitar. Both hit life's minor trough that summer: Xiaxia feared disappointing her parents, while Shen Yu's band was on the verge of disbanding. The town's old pier, ice cream shop and late-night barbecue stall became their secret base. Tiny sparks of affection grew in the sea breeze, evolving from the fluster of a chance encounter to mutual healing. Under summer fireworks, they finally gathered the courage to voice what they hid in that summer.
