A poor modern illustrator named Lin Mo gets an electric shock and travels back to ancient times, becoming a down-and-out scholar with the same name. Cornered by creditors with empty pockets, he casually draws scenes of common people with modern illustration aesthetics, attracting crowds and a nobleman’s attention. Later, his exquisite landscape paintings are recommended by the imperial painter, making him a world-famous painting sage.
