Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, picks up an old diary covered in doodles after working overtime until midnight. She casually writes "I want a hot milk tea"—and the next second, a delivery slams onto her desk. This diary can actually grant wishes! But every wish comes with a "reverse buff": writing "raise salary" gets her fired as a scapegoat; writing "escape marriage pressure" brings Gu Zhao, a sarcastic immortal cultivator who claims to be the diary's owner and wants to retrieve his celestial artifact. To keep her "counterattack weapon," Lin Xiaoman is forced to live with Gu Zhao. While using the diary to deal with terrible clients and green-tea colleagues, she helps Gu Zhao find his lost "spiritual essence." Amidst the chaos, she realizes: the real magic isn't the diary—it's the person who stays with her to expose lies and fight against life together.
