Lin Xiaoman, an overworked advertising slave, has a life straight out of a tragedy: clients yell at her for “lousy ideas”, colleagues steal her credit, and she even has to work overtime on her birthday to revise PPTs. Until she picks up a scratchy old phone downstairs from her company—taking a photo of “wanting a hot milk tea” actually conjures up a warm cup of pearl milk tea; taking a photo of “making the client shut up” makes the picky client suddenly praise her as “creatively brilliant”! But the phone has a catch: every wish granted requires completing a “social death task”—like dancing the rabbit dance or singing a children’s song in public. Even more absurdly, she accidentally takes a photo of Gu Jingshen, the cold CEO, and Gu starts bringing her breakfast every day and defending her from clients. The task? To help him find his lost childhood teddy bear! As she navigates embarrassing tasks and a surprisingly clingy CEO’s romance, Lin realizes: true逆袭 isn’t about wishes—it’s about learning to say “no” to injustice and embrace her imperfect self. But where did this phone come from? And what’s its ultimate mission?
