Twenty steamed buns, intended as charity for sick neighbor kids, become a fuse for revealing human nature in the Li family. When the buns go missing at dinner, the whole family falls into chaos: grandpa blames grandma for hiding them, the elder brother yells at his sister, while mom and dad secretly calculate selling the buns. Only the little granddaughter hiding at the door reveals the truth—their uncle stole the buns to give to his girlfriend as a gift. The twenty buns shatter the family's false warmth and let everyone see their true faces. This steamed bun farce becomes the sharpest weapon to pierce all pretenses.
