Su Wan (played by Yang Rong), an investment banking elite, is forced to take over the "Sweet Garden" dessert shop in her hometown after her mother's death—it's her mother's last gift, but also the "useless business" she despises most. Lin Shen (played by Li Tai), the neighbor who runs a bakery, is a "slow life believer" who gave up his architect career.
