Community police officer Lin Xiao encounters a mystery right after her transfer: the convenience store owner, who always delivers hot porridge to elderly loners, suddenly disappears— and illegal lottery machines are found behind the shelves. Tracking the clues, she discovers the mastermind is Zhou Qiang, a gangster once punished for affray, and his “protector” is Zhang, an old acquaintance from the district civil affairs bureau.
