Lin Wan, a wind farm monitor, has guarded the wind turbines for three years, living with the wind as her only companion. Until Gu Jingshen, a "cold-blooded developer," breaks in with a demolition order—he wants to tear down the wind farm that carries the hopes of the village's elderly and children. The two, once at odds, break down prejudices through constant contact: Gu Jingshen climbs the turbine tower with Lin Wan to listen to wind stories, and Lin Wan sees him secretly help children with scholarship funds. From the tacit understanding of fixing turbines on a rainy night to the heartbeat when watching the sunset on the tower, they gradually can't tell if the tremor is from the wind or the sound of their hearts racing. But when the final demolition order comes, how will Gu Jingshen choose between his career and love? Can Lin Wan hold onto both the wind and her heart's home?
