Su Wan, a modest designer, gets into a car accident while working overtime late at night and is rescued by Gu Yanchuan, a mysterious man. When she wakes up, she’s horrified to find Gu not only knows every detail of her life but has even moved into her apartment, calling it "protection." Su tries to escape, only to discover an old photo among Gu’s belongings—a snapshot of a badly injured little boy (young Gu) and a girl (herself) handing him a band-aid, taken ten years ago.
