Qing Wan, a girl running an old bookstore in an alley, discovers a yellowed notebook filled with short stories while tidying her belongings. Surprisingly, the plots she wrote years ago begin to come true in reality. The most terrifying entry predicts her childhood sweetheart A Zhe will hold an engagement ceremony with another girl on the sixth day of the lunar month. Panicked, she meets a mysterious man calling himself a "Story Recorder", who claims the notebook is her "past-life fragments", and the key to changing fate lies in every forgotten memory shard. Qing Wan embarks on a desperate path between reality and fiction, only to find every choice tied to a more hidden truth.
