Lin Wanyue, a female craftsman at the old Jiangnan shipyard "Yunzhou Wharf," lives by guarding the ancient ship "Guixu" left by her grandfather. Her peaceful life is disrupted by Gu Yunshen, a mysterious tenant who insists on renting "Guixu" and is fixated on the old carvings at the ship's bottom. As they repair the ship together, Wanyue discovers Gu Yunshen's identity is linked to her grandfather's disappearance two decades prior. Hidden within "Guixu" is an unfulfilled promise spanning twenty years—and the quiet budding of two hearts, between the evening moon and the cloud boat.
