For a decade, forensic scientist Su Wan never faltered during autopsies—until she finds Lin Shen, her husband missing for five years, on the table. His body is cold as iron, but his soul sits nearby, smiling, offering a seven-day deal: help him find his “missing self” in exchange for a chance to “live again”. Over seven days, Su Wan follows ghostly Lin Shen retracing their love story and investigating the old case, only to discover every clue points to herself: the forgotten wedding anniversary, the men’s watch hidden in the closet, and the “time of death” erased from the report. When the seventh day’s cicada song cuts through dawn, she realizes—the one she’s searching for is never her missing husband, but the “truth” she buried in her own memories.
