Aerospace designer Lin Mian, absorbed in a satellite launch mission, misses her appointment with astrophotographer Lu Xing to watch a meteor shower. Bonded by their love for the galaxy, they drift apart due to Lin’s work negligence. One late night during the mission, she sees Lu’s saved galaxy footage at the observatory, filled with guilt. When the satellite successfully enters orbit, she rushes out and meets Lu with his camera. Their kiss, full of apology and longing, lands on a shooting star, weaving their bond into the vast galaxy.
