Lin Xiaochuan is a doormat errand boy at a pawnshop. One day, he’s scratched by a broken porcelain shard on his left eye and awakens a "Treasure Appraisal Heaven's Eye"—able to see an antique’s age, authenticity, and even the "past stories" hidden in its glaze! He makes his first pot of gold by picking up undervalued antiques, but this attracts the greedy pawnshop owner, who chases him to force collaboration on counterfeiting. Meanwhile, Su Wan, a cold female CEO, comes looking for her family heirloom, the "Green Glazed Jade Pot Spring Vase," and Lin is the only one who can sense its location. They go from mutual contempt to teamwork: Lin mistakes Su’s imperial green jade hairpin for a street stall fake (nearly getting slapped), while Su helps him fend off thugs. But as Lin uses his eye more, it starts burning and he has hallucinations—could the "Heaven's Eye" come with a price?
