Lin Xiaoman takes over her grandmother's struggling photo studio to save it from closing, only to find the once-deserted shop suddenly booming—customers claim they've photographed "someone they can't see anymore": a boyfriend missing for three years, a deceased mother, even a parallel-universe version of themselves. But as business thrives, Xiaoman notices something off: every customer gradually forgets the most important things in their lives after taking photos. It's not until she reads her grandmother's diary that she uncovers the old camera's secret—it can project people's deepest obsessions, but at the cost of "forgetting".
