Laid off and dumped by her unfaithful boyfriend, ordinary office worker Su Xiao stumbles upon a seemingly ordinary wishing stone at a subway station. She wishes her ex away on a whim, and he flees in disgrace the next day. Then she wishes for a big company job, and gets the offer overnight. But every wish comes with an unforeseen price: she’s labeled a homewrecker by coworkers, and later learns her new position took someone else’s spot. When she wishes to mend her broken family ties, she discovers the stone’s hidden rules are far crueler than she imagined. Now Su Xiao is torn between making more wishes or walking away from this deadly bargain.
