Five years ago, top actress Su Wan's career collapsed due to a 'cheating scandal'. Her boyfriend and manager Lu Zhao's words 'I believe in evidence' broke her heart completely, and she fled overseas. Five years later, she returns as 'Lin Xia', an international film queen, to take over her father's bankrupt entertainment company, determined to uncover the truth. Unexpectedly, Lu Zhao has become the industry's top crisis PR expert, but he's hired by the rival who framed her back then, tasked with 'dealing with' this new opponent. On the day they meet again, Su Wan looks at the man in a sharp suit with a complicated gaze and sneers: 'Long time no see, Mr. Lu——this time, I won't let others trample me.' But Lu Zhao, looking at the woman who's no longer fragile but full of thorns, realizes the 'evidence' back then was all fake——he missed not only love but also the girl who loved him with all her heart. When the truth emerges, how will they choose between revenge and old love?
